Before we get started

Getting started

Where do you work?

DJ Fence & Gate is based in Paulding County and serves Paulding, Douglas, Polk, Haralson, Coweta, Cobb, Cherokee, and Bartow counties. Share your project address so we can confirm the location.

Do you work with homeowners and businesses?

Yes. Residential installations, fence and gate repairs, and commercial fencing are all available. Commercial plans and bid requests are welcome.

Who owns DJ Fence & Gate?

Dusty Johnson owns DJ Fence & Gate and brings 27 years of hands-on fencing experience. That experience belongs to the owner; DJ Fence & Gate is a new business.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. DJ Fence & Gate is licensed and insured. If your project requires documentation or specific qualification review, bring that up before scheduling the work.

Can I text you?

Yes. Call or text (678) 245-1920. Photos are especially useful for initial repair discussions.

Installations and repairs

Do I have to replace the whole fence?

Not necessarily. The condition of posts, rails, panels, and nearby sections determines whether a focused repair makes sense. Share photos and we can discuss an assessment.

Can you repair a fence you did not install?

Yes. We can review existing fences and gates. Component condition and material availability affect the repair scope. Existing components are not covered by our workmanship warranty.

Which fence materials do you offer?

We offer wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, ornamental steel, and specialty fencing. Product, style, height, and finish are confirmed for the individual project.

Can you repair or install gates and automation?

Yes. We handle gate installation, gate repairs, and automatic gates and access-control projects. Existing equipment needs to be reviewed before repair compatibility or replacement options are confirmed.

Do you install pool and farm fencing?

Yes. Pool barriers and farm or acreage fences are available. Pool requirements depend on the local authority; acreage fence design depends on its purpose, terrain, and access needs.

How much will my fence cost?

Pricing depends on the measured scope, material, height, gates, site conditions, removal, and project requirements. We prepare an estimate for the actual work rather than quoting a universal price per foot.

How soon can the work start?

Scheduling depends on current availability, site review, materials, approvals, and the agreed scope. Tell us your timing needs and we will confirm the next steps directly.

Planning and commercial work

Who checks property lines and approvals?

Share a survey or reliable boundary information, easements, and any HOA approvals. Permit and zoning requirements must be confirmed for the actual property and jurisdiction. Utility locating is not a property-line survey.

Do you accept commercial bid requests?

Yes. Send the project location, plans or specifications, fence and gate scope, bid deadline, and access or scheduling constraints. Contract, insurance, and project-specific requirements should be reviewed early.

Can you guarantee a fence will satisfy my HOA or local code?

Requirements must be reviewed for your specific property, product, and layout. Do not assume a sample photo or a county-level summary establishes approval for your project.

Financing and warranty

Is financing available?

Yes. Ask about current financing options for your project. Availability, eligibility, approval, interest, fees, and payment terms depend on the applicable program. Do not send financial account details through the website.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

The limited lifetime workmanship warranty applies to qualifying complete new residential installations, for the original customer while that customer owns the property. It is non-transferable and subject to the written terms and exclusions.

Are repairs covered by the lifetime warranty?

No. Unless otherwise stated in writing, repairs and work involving existing materials have one year of workmanship coverage. Existing components are not warranted.

What is the warranty on commercial work?

Commercial terms follow the proposal, contract, specifications, or other written agreement. Unless otherwise specified in writing, commercial installations carry one year of workmanship coverage.

Are gate adjustments included?

New gates installed by DJ Fence & Gate include complimentary adjustments for two years. Later routine adjustments are maintenance and may have a service charge. Covered original-workmanship failures follow the applicable warranty.

We stand behind our work
